The new €15 million service station is expected to be a handy stop for motorists travelling to major events such as Electric Picnic. A new Applegreen service station set to open in Naas later this year will feature Ireland's first Popeyes drive-thru. The €15 million development is being built at Junction 9 on the M7, close to the Naas Ball, and is expected to create around 150 jobs. For fried chicken fans, the biggest attraction will be Popeyes' first drive-thru restaurant on the island of Ireland. Its M7 location is likely to prove popular with motorists travelling to events such as Electric Picnic in nearby Stradbally.
