Gym access dispute unfoldedA tenant who was refused gym access at her apartment complex because she lived in its social housing block has been awarded €2,500 for housing assistance discrimination, according to RTÉ News. Ms Nowakowska told the WRC that when her complaint arose in July 2025, she had recently been placed in an apartment at the complex as a social housing tenant. Having seen other residents using fobs to get into the on-site gym, she asked a security guard about access. His reply, she said, was that she was not permitted in the gym because she was living in Block 5, "the social housing block". She found the complaint over the denial of gym access was "well founded".
