The Irish Oscar-winner's funeral took place in The Liberties, where she lived for many years. Fans and stars gathered in Dublin city today (Thursday, 6 August) for the funeral of legendary Irish actress Brenda Fricker. She was a lovely person. One local told JOE: "Wasn't she a lovely person? This made her the first Irish actress to take home an Oscar.
