SFNF NEWS RELEASEFirefighters are responding to two lightning-caused wildfires on the Cuba Ranger District south of Forest Road 315. Firefighters will continue constructing handline and saw line throughout the day and into the evening. Because of the larger size and greater potential threat posed by the Lodin Fire, suppression resources will continue to prioritize the Lodin Fire. Firefighters continue to prioritize protection of these values while working toward full containment of both incidents. Visitors are encouraged to avoid the vicinity of both fires and use caution when traveling near firefighting operations.
