A man in the U.S. illegally tried to arrange a sexual encounter with a minor in Central Florida. Detectives from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office arrested the was residing in Winter Haven man who was trying to arrange a sexual encounter with a 14-year-old girl via a dating app. Local law enforcement said the suspect is from Haiti and in the United States illegally. Cherubin was residing in Winter Haven, according to law enforcement. He came to the United States on a work visa that has since expired, and he has been unemployed for the past six months.
