Real data exists that shows the environmental impact of data center pollution as well as the effect on local utilities. Culhane moves to focus on the potential benefits of an Ames data center, but does a dishonest job in explaining their real impact. They line the pockets of business owners and investors who are happily willing to sacrifice the Ames community. A data center does not logically create an atmosphere of restaurants and retailers that Culhane mentioned. The answer to this question will itself answer the first question; if a data center is not good for Ames, we are against a data center.
