At the Main Street Farmers’ Market, visitors paused at the Kiwanis Club of Ames booth to do just that. Every tile looks different, but each one will eventually become part of a single community mosaic mural. The project gained momentum quickly after its first appearance at the farmers’ market. People could grab a bite to eat, explore the farmers market and return when they were ready to paint. Each created by a different member of the Ames community, brought together one brushstroke at a time.
