Beethoven scholar, 55 RIPnorman lebrecht August 06, 2026The Beethoven House in Bonn has made known the death, aged 55, of its head of research, Professor Dr. Christine Siegert. She had held the position for almost eleven years. During this time, she led numerous international conferences and saw through the critical edition of the 9th symphony. Her PhD dissertation was on Cherubini.
