Last Saturday saw a fine turnout of volunteers to help with a maintenance day at the Culrain and District Community Hall. Working under the direction of the hall committee, the volunteers tackled a wide variety of tasks to ensure the hall looked its best and was ready for the winter months ahead. The top priority was the much-needed task of repairing and repainting the windows in the main hall. At the end of a long day the hall committee held a free BBQ for the volunteers and the wider Culrain and District community to thank them for their continued support and commitment to the hallall. The Culrain & District Hall chairman,, Graham Charge, expressed the committee’s appreciation and gratitude tothe volunteers who gave up their Saturday for the benefit of the hall and the community.
