A unique art exhibition was held for the second year in Dornoch Cathedral, showcasing artworks created by artists in prison. The Made Visible prison art exhibition, which featured work from HMP Inverness, HMP Castle Huntly and HMP Low Moss, offers inmates the opportunity to be recognised as artists rather than just prisoners. On display was artwork from inmates at HMP Inverness, HMP Castle Huntly and HMP Low Moss (Glasgow). In a message HMP Inverness art teacher Chloe Jenkins, picked up on the importance of art for individuals in prison. She said: “As a prison art tutor, it’s not just about creating pretty pictures or teaching creative techniques.
