Image: SA Rugby websiteThis week SA Rugby revealed a ‘new’ Springbok jersey design for Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry Tour, and fans unanimously approved of the look, with many admitting online that they’d be willing to cough up for whatever it may cost. The jerseys went on sale on Thursday (6 August) at three different price points from Nike stores and Nike.com, and at various Springbok retail stores. At the heart of the jersey design is a subtle, tone-on-tone graphic featuring the lyrics of South Africa’s national anthem, Nkosi Sikelel’ iAfrika, printed in the shape of the South African flag. “This truly is a Tour like no other and so is this jersey,” said Rian Oberholzer, CEO of SA Rugby.
