Kaizer Chiefs have received a huge boost ahead of the 2026-27 CAF Confederation Cup draw which is scheduled for TODAY, 6 August in Cairo. Last season’s appearance in the CAF Confederation Cup came as a result of Chiefs winning the 2025 Nedbank Cup. New developments are that the Soweto giants will get a bye and enter the competition from the second preliminary round. Fernando da Cruz’s men are scheduled to take on Lehlohonolo Seema’s charges on 5 September; the same weekend CAF has scheduled the first preliminary round fixtures.
