Two held, five others booked in Kerala minor sexual assault caseKerala Police have taken two persons into custody and booked five others, including the victim's father, after a minor girl in Pathanamthitta alleged years of sexual abuse. According to police, the victim’s father, who is currently abroad, has also been named an accused. After counselling, the police were informed, and cases were registered based on the victim’s statement, officials said. Police said that the victim’s medical examination was also completed and a magistrate recorded her statement. Further investigation into the matter is underway under the supervision of the Pathanamthitta District Police Chief.
