Bonalu celebrations turn tragic as six-year-old drowns in Tellapur lakeA six-year-old boy drowned in Tellapur lake after reportedly walking out of a play school during Bonalu celebrations in Sangareddy district. The parents blamed the school management for negligence, while Kollur police registered a case and launched an investigation. The play school was located very close to Tellapur lake. The 6-year-old boy, Shanmukh, walked out of the school while the remaining students and staff were engaged in Bonalu celebrations. His father, Uday Kiran, dropped the child at the school in the morning, but received a call from the school management within a couple of hours.
