The third edition of Contemporary Now, with its curatorial theme ‘Practices in Continuum: Tracing the Present’, brings together seven leading Indian galleries—Ashvita's, Chemould Prescott Road, Chatterjee & Lal, Experimenter, Project 88, TARQ and Vadehra Art Gallery—and 66 artists for a shared presentation of contemporary art. Set to take place across two floors of Lalit Kala Akademi (with partner programmes unfolding across venues throughout Chennai), the exciting event will allow these galleries and cultural organisations to collaborate through exhibitions, panel discussions, artist walkthroughs, open houses, and workshops. Armed with his mix of percussive finger-style, orchestral arrangements and raw talent, Marcin is ready to delight fans across India this month. This is a great way to network with the bigwigs of the country’s creative industry, and learn new ways to expand your personal brand. The two-day conference includes panels, PechaKucha presentations, masterclasses and breakout sessions, alongside a mentorship lab that places emerging practitioners in direct conversation with industry figures.
