The AASA Race Series (formerly Hi-Tec Oils Super Series) was slated to visit Winton on September 25-27. It comes amid a feud between the new AASA owner group and the former custodians, the Benalla Auto Club, which operates Winton. The series will instead conclude at Sandown Raceway on December 4-6. Sandown event was supposed to be part of the AASA Short Track Nationals. “Stephen and I have already locked down dates for 2027,” said Queensland Raceway general manager Josh McFarlane.
