Tyre pressure monitoring sensors (TPMS) detected two of Allen’s tyres below the 16 psi minimum pressure while on the grid ahead of the Sunday race. “Supercars has today exercised its right of appeal with the Supercars National Court of Appeal in relation to a stewards decision arising from Race 25 at the 2026 Perth Super440,” read a Supercars statement. “The appeal concerns the sanction imposed following a finding that a breach of the minimum tyre pressure requirements had been proven. “As the matter is now before the Supercars National Court of Appeal, Supercars will not be making any further comment on the substance of the proceedings while the appeal process is underway. The case must be heard by the Supercars National Court of Appeal in Melbourne within nine days of the publication of the stewards’ original findings.
