Institutional investors are placing greater emphasis on how asset managers use artificial intelligence, with every firm surveyed by Clearwater Analytics reporting an increase in client enquiries about AI capabilities. Around 85% of asset managers said clients viewed their use of AI positively, while a further 10% described investor perceptions as very positive. Clearwater Analytics chief technology officer Souvik Das said AI was changing how institutional investors assessed asset managers. Institutional investors increasingly expect real-time insight, tailored solutions and explainable decision-making, raising the bar for the entire industry.” The survey covered insurance asset managers, hedge funds, private markets specialists and traditional asset managers.
