The manufacturer has pledged to match funds raised by the public in support of the STV Children’s Appeal, which takes place throughout September. Scots are being invited to hold breakfast fundraisers, with the proceeds providing free breakfasts for children across ScotlandKellogg’s will match every £1 raised up to the total of £50,000. The money raised will fund school breakfast clubs throughout ScotlandAndrew Ridge, social impact manager at Kellogg’s, said: “For nearly 30 years, Kellogg’s has supported school breakfast clubs up and down the country and teachers tell us that being hungry can have a massive effect on pupils, from their performance and behaviour, and even overall attendance. “Supporting school breakfast clubs is vital to ensure children affected by poverty can access a filling meal and head into the classroom ready to learn.”
