Heim is set to return to the Cup Series for the regular season finale at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, August 29. Between now and then, the Cup Series is also set to contest races at Richmond Raceway and New Hampshire Motor Speedway. As a first-year full-time Cup driver in 2027, Heim would be eligible to compete in more than eight Truck Series races if he so chooses.
