Articles 29 and 30 provide cultural and educational rights to religious and linguistic minorities, while Articles 350A and 350B safeguard linguistic interests. These communities, therefore, enjoy recognition as national religious minorities under the 1992 Act and are entitled to the protections and welfare measures available under the existing legal framework. Unlike the six communities notified under the National Commission for Minorities Act, followers of these indigenous faiths do not presently enjoy notified minority status under central law.
