Advertisement Advertisement AdvertisementThe Police Service Commission, PSC, has approved the appointment of Assistant Inspector-General of Police, AIG, Auwal Musa Mohammed as the new Commandant of the Nigeria Police Academy, POLAC, Wudil, Kano State, alongside the deployment of eight Commissioners of Police, CPs, to various state commands. The Commission said the postings were part of ongoing efforts to strengthen police leadership and address operational requirements following the promotion of former state commissioners. The new POLAC Commandant holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Bayero University, Kano. The Commission approved the deployment of CP Afolabi Wilfred Olutokunbo to Abia State, CP Ayodeji Faniyan to Plateau State, CP Saka Adewale Ajao to Bayelsa State, CP Ajo Geoffrey Ordue to Cross River State, CP Nnanna Oji Ama to Anambra State, CP Patrick Daaor to Edo State, CP Tijani Murtala to Jigawa State and CP Samuel Erale Etaifo to Delta State. The PSC said the latest postings were aimed at strengthening leadership across state police commands and enhancing operational effectiveness in line with the policing needs of the country.
