Eldorado Park police have arrested a 27-year-old man for possession of unlicensed ammunition following an intelligence-driven operation conducted in the Eldorado Park policing precinct on Tuesday, 4 August 2026. Police acted on intelligence about a man allegedly in possession of unlicensed ammunition. During the search, police recovered a total of 72 live rounds of ammunition, comprising 40 x 9mm live rounds, 09 x R5 live rounds, and 23 x .22-calibre live rounds. The suspect was immediately arrested for possession of unlicensed ammunition. The 27-year-old suspect is expected to appear before the Lenasia Magistrate’s Court soon on a charge of possession of unlicensed ammunition.
