Looses Emporium, in Magdalen Street, is the city's largest established antique and vintage dealership and has featured on BBC's Bargain Hunt and Antiques Road Trip. The centre, which features more than 60 dealers under one roof, was forced to temporarily close after a burglary in the early hours of August 8, 2024. Now almost two years on, Richard Duggan has been charged with entering the premises as a trespasser and stealing antique jewellery valued at £10,230. Technical problems with the link meant he was unable to appear and his case was adjourned until August 25. Duggan, previously of Lynn Road in Swaffham, was sentenced in June for a number of separate offences at Norwich Crown Court.
