Tipster Digital Chat Station claims that the Adreno GPUs inside the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chips have six slices alongside “exclusive technology with a fully utilized cache“. By comparison, the Adreno 840 GPU inside the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip reportedly features three slices. Qualcomm is expected to announce the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro during its annual Snapdragon Summit next month in Hawaii.
