(IN BRIEF) NIB has signed a 13-year DKK 182 million loan, approximately EUR 24 million, with Sindal Biogas A/S to co-finance the expansion of the Sindal Biogas plant in northern Denmark. The loan supports Denmark’s clean energy transition, energy security and circular economy goals, and is eligible under the InvestEU Clean Energy Transition Framework. NIB said the loan supports Denmark’s transition to clean energy and is eligible under the InvestEU Clean Energy Transition Framework. The expansion will allow Sindal Biogas to increase its renewable natural gas production capacity significantly. This scale will make Sindal Biogas one of Denmark’s largest biogas facilities.
