Kurnool: The Andhra Pradesh Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has registered a disproportionate assets case against a Senior Assistant working in the Sub-Registrar Office, Nandyal, following allegations that he amassed assets beyond his known sources of income.
The accused officer, Musulay Eswara Gopal Rao (36), son of late M Eswara Rao, is currently serving as a Senior Assistant in the Stamps and Registration Department at the Sub-Registrar Office in Nandyal.
Officer’s multiple houses revealed during ACB searchesAs part of the probe, ACB officials conducted simultaneous searches on August 6 at six locations linked to the officer.
According to officials, Eswara Gopal Rao joined the Stamps and Registration Department as a Junior Assistant on May 16, 2012, and was promoted to Senior Assistant on September 15, 2018.
He has been serving in the Nandyal Sub-Registrar Office since 2024.
