Buskirk fire spreads to second homeBUSKIRK, N.Y. (WNYT) – A fast-moving fire in Buskirk spread from one home to a second house, drawing a large emergency response and locking down the area. The fire was reported around 6:30 p.m. in Buskirk, north of Hoosick Falls. Authorities said flames quickly spread to a second home and emergency responders upgraded it to a second-alarm fire. Multiple fire stations responded to put out the fire and protect nearby homes and the neighborhood. Authorities told NewsChannel 13’s photographer that the area was locked down.
