Looks like there’s been a shake-up over in the Miss USA Organization, which just announced that Miss North Carolina USA 2026 Brittany Boltinhouse was dethroned less than a month after winning the title on June 28. Chairman and CEO Thom Brodeur announced the news in a statement, writing that Miss USA “does not tolerate racism, homophobia, transphobia nor language that strips any person of their dignity.” It is a position of trust, extended by an organization and accepted by a woman who agrees to carry a standard in public. It reflected conduct over an extended period of time. As for who’s taking over the Miss North Carolina USA throne, Myla Hadley—who was previously crowned Miss Charlotte—will take the title.
