Lidar redesigned for UAVsThe portfolio consists of MOVIA Air and MOVIA Air Plus. MOVIA Air is a drone-optimized lidar sensor running embedded algorithms for autonomous landing, obstacle avoidance, object tracking and environmental measurement. MicroVision said it has reduced the sensor’s weight by around 50% compared with the standard industrial MOVIA platform, while maintaining its sensing performance. MOVIA Air Plus adds an edge processor, MicroVision’s perception software and an optional camera.
