The home side, who had won the first Test in Tarouba, resumed their second innings on 103-6 overnight after losing three wickets just before the close on day three. That left them just 60 ahead, with Pakistan having made 387 in response to West Indies' first-innings score of 344. Spinners Ali Usman (4-39) and Sajid Khan (4-32) led the way with the former, playing in his second Test, claiming two of his wickets on day four. The win ends a run of eight consecutive away defeats for Pakistan since they beat Sri Lanka in Colombo in July 2023. They now head to England for a three-match Test series, beginning at Headingley on Wednesday, 19 August.
