Representatives of major coal consumers, including Jindal Steel, Jindal India Power Limited, Meenakshi Energy Limited, and Tamil Nadu Power Generation Corporation Limited (TNPGCL), besides transport agencies, participated in the discussions.
He urged transport agencies to ensure that coal is dispatched daily in line with production targets and called upon consumer companies to extend full cooperation in timely lifting of coal.
Transport agencies also expressed readiness to meet the stipulated transportation targets while highlighting certain operational bottlenecks along the transportation routes for early resolution.
SCCL officials instructed the Naini Area management to work in close coordination with transport agencies and consumer companies to achieve the daily transportation target of 12,000 tonnes.
Earlier in the day, Gowtham Potru and B. Venkanna inspected the Naini Coal Mine and reviewed production operations.
