The Telangana government is progressing the construction workds of 'Young India' integrated residential schools with a vision to make world-class education hubs in 105 constituencies.
While 86 schools are under construction, permissions have been given for another 19, and the value of tenders for 78 schools has been finalised.
The 'Young India' residential schools will have smart classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and sports complexes and be built according to international standards.
The focus of the 'Young India' scheme is to provide quality education to students of Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and minorities on a single campus without any social or religious divisions.
The process of release of tenders, approvals, and construction is also fast tracked to complete the construction of schools in time.
