Participating in the discussion on the Appropriation Bill, 2026-27 in the Rajya Sabha, Ravichandra said the legislation was an important constitutional measure that enables the government to carry out its developmental and welfare responsibilities. He said the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) supports initiatives aimed at promoting national development, generating employment opportunities, strengthening infrastructure and implementing public welfare programmes. During his speech, the MP reiterated the party’s long-pending demand for the declaration of Kothagudem as a Railway Division. Ravichandra said improved rail connectivity would benefit pilgrims, residents and the regional economy while boosting infrastructure development in the area. Expressing his party’s support for the Appropriation Bill, 2026-27, the BRS leader congratulated Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for introducing the legislation in Parliament.
