Two men denied six dog-related offences in Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
Kiare Hollis, 46, pleaded not guilty to keeping one male and one female pitbull-type dog, named Man and Princess, who allegedly injured another dog and strayed off their keeper’s property.
Separately, Blake Stevens, 41, denied keeping Honey, a reddish-tan female pitbull-type dog that did not originate from a legitimate source and without a valid licence to do so.
Mr Stevens allegedly committed the offences in Sandys between an unknown date and February 13, 2025.
Senior magistrate Maxanne Anderson released Mr Stevens, from Sandys, on $2,000 bail and Mr Hollis, from Hamilton Parish, on $6,000 bail.
