The Cam and Dursley charity, which is marking its 25th anniversary this year, supports around 2,200 people each month with a wide range of activities, including a foodbank, money advice, bike maintenance, craft courses and wellbeing support. Ms Brocklesby, who has served as a trustee for just over a year, said she was 'hugely honoured' to take on the position. “It provides incredibly diverse services and such valuable support across the local community. “I follow in the footsteps of a fantastic outgoing chair, Doina, who has been an amazing asset to GL11. "I hope to carry on from the example she has set in doing whatever I can to support GL11 as it moves forward in its incredible journey.”
