Teachers Health Trust, the nonprofit health plan for Clark County educators and their dependents, is hosting a free back-to-school vaccine clinic from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at its office at 2950 E. Rochelle Ave. in Las Vegas, giving Clark County families a chance to meet school immunization requirements ahead of Monday’s first day of class. Vaccines are free for all Teachers Health Trust members and any Clark County resident with valid health insurance, as most plans cover immunizations at no cost. Participants must register online in advance and bring a valid photo ID, insurance card and a completed consent form, available on the registration site. Attendees who complete their immunizations will receive a 10% Albertsons discount coupon. Health providers from THT’s Health Investment Program, including Desert Valley Pediatrics and Astrana Care, will be on hand to answer wellness questions.
