KARACHI – A judicial court ordered exhumation of Mir Raza’s grave and directed formation of medical board for fresh post-mortem examination in another development in the investigation into his controversial death. Judicial Magistrate (East) approved a petition filed by Mir Raza’s father, who has consistently rejected the official narrative of suicide and alleged that his only son was brutally murdered. During proceedings, Mir Raza’s father raised questions at police investigation and that critical questions surrounding his son’s death remained unanswered. The case remained under intense scrutiny since Mir Raza’s death, with his family repeatedly challenging the findings of the original post-mortem report. Police Surgeon Dr. Samia Syed said that there were significant inconsistencies between the post-mortem report and the available photographs.
