Emergency services were called to Leigh Woods at about 4.20am on Sunday, August 2, following reports of a man in cardiac arrest. Avon and Somerset Police said members of the public and emergency personnel attempted to help the man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the man's death is not being treated as suspicious and that a file will be prepared for the coroner. "Despite the efforts from members of the public and emergency personnel, the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. "His death is not being treated as suspicious, and we will now carry out enquiries and prepare a file on behalf of the coroner."
