The application was for a site at Hillcroft Caravan Park in Pooley Bridge and the decision to grant planning permission was made on Wednesday (July 29).
According to the decision letter access to the proposed temporary recreational campsite would be through the existing caravan park.
In her letter area planner Catherine Campbell said the development can take place without an application for planning permission.
According to the application letter it was originally proposed that the site would operate between May 22 and May 31, as well as July 17 and September 4, 2026, for a combined total of 60 days.
But, if the decision was made after May 18, it was proposed to operate between July 9 and September 6, again for a total of 60 days.
