Tractor Supply acquired the Petsense chain in 2016 for approximately $116 million to complement its core farm and ranch retail business.
Despite the physical store closures, Tractor Supply has continued expanding its broader pet care footprint, recently acquiring veterinary service provider VIP Petcare and partnering with Instacart for local delivery services.
