A 19-year-old man faces a $1 million bond following his arrest in connection with a July shooting that left a Jackson man dead. He made his initial appearance in Jackson Municipal Court on Wednesday, where a judge set bond at $1 million. The charge stems from a July 12 incident that began around 3 p.m. when officers responded to the University of Mississippi Medical Center. The victim, identified as Debroski Tims, arrived at the hospital via private vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. Anyone with information regarding the case is urged to contact the Jackson Police Department at 601-960-1800 or Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS (8477).
