Your Housing had attempted to contact Chester Davenport on multiple occasions to schedule a routine check of his property at Kinnaird House, City Road, in Chester, an inquest heard. After failing to make contact with him, staff from Your Housing forced entry into the home on Tuesday, July 21, where the body of Mr Davenport was sadly discovered. Cheshire coroner Victoria Davies stated that she was satisfied there was enough evidence to provide a conclusion to the inquest. She said: “Chester Davenport was born on August 20, 1976 and his place of birth is unknown. The coroner’s court, Cheshire Police and Your Housing attempted to locate family or friends linked to Mr Davenport but sadly were unable to do so.
