The foreign ministers of Egypt, Qatar, Jordan, UAE, Indonesia, Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia issued a joint statement on Thursday denouncing Israel’s ongoing violations in Gaza Strip. The ministers condemned in the strongest terms the targeting of healthcare facilities, civilian infrastructure and the continued killing of civilians, including women and children. They described these acts as grave breaches of both the international law and the international humanitarian law. The ministers cautioned that Israel’s actions threaten to derail the political process, reignite escalation and deepen Gaza’s humanitarian crisis. The ministers reiterated their categorical rejection of any attempts to annex occupied Palestinian land, impose Israeli sovereignty or forcibly displace Palestinians.
