From the Love Island villa to the Royal Festival Hall, Love Island winner Julia Majchrzak didn’t wait for her tan to fade before attending another major summer event: King’s College London’s 2026 graduation.
She was there to celebrate her best friend Avery Buchanan, graduating with a master’s degree in Biomedical and Molecular Sciences.
On Thursday 30 July, days after being crowned champion of Love Island UK Season 13, Julia shared photos from the graduation ceremony on Instagram.
Her best friend Avery told Roar it was “great” to catch up with classmates and celebrate with friends on graduation day.
While completing her master’s degree, Avery has been working at a University of Oxford-affiliated research hospital, developing bone marrow models to study bone and blood cancers.
