Researchers in Norway tracked more than 87,000 adults for about 15 years, pulling data from national health registries to study links between exercise, AFib, stroke and death.
Compared with inactive adults, those with low, moderate or high activity levels had a 9%, 19% and 18% lower risk of stroke, respectively.
Death risk from any cause also dropped, falling 11%, 18% and 22% for low, moderate and high activity levels.
