A Mountain Home man has been arrested for exploiting over $100,000 from a man he befriended. Facing a felony charge for the crime is 57-year-old James Oliver Lever. According to the probable cause affidavit and information from the Mountain Home Police Department, the guardian for the 76-year-old victim reported Lever had been financially exploiting the man since last year. It was reported Lever met the man after doing work for him. Lever faces a felony charge of abuse, neglect, or exploitation of an endangered or impaired person involving more than $2,500.
