Mbare Woman Tricks Man Twice In One Night, Uses Scam Money To Buy DrugsA 27-year-old Mbare woman has shared how a quick-money scheme involving a US$10 sex-for-cash deal ended with her being imprisoned at Chikurubi Female Prison. Leah Chikwekwe told visiting students that she conned the same man twice on the same night at a Harare flat, making US$20 before using the money to buy drugs. She told the students that she created a plan to trick him by pretending she could provide access to an apartment. According to her account, the man told her he was looking for a woman who resembled her but was wearing different clothes and a hat. Drug Abuse Led To ArrestThe Mbare woman told the students that she used the US$20 obtained from the scam to buy drugs for resale.
