Mensah, Maryland CountyHarper, Maryland County – The Liberia National Tourism Authority (LNTA) has launched a county-wide initiative in Maryland County to identify, assess, and promote cultural and historical sites with the potential to boost tourism and preserve the county’s rich heritage. According to him, Maryland County possesses significant tourism potential thanks to its rich history, unique cultural traditions, historical landmarks, scenic landscapes, and coastal attractions. Welcoming the delegation, Superintendent Nathaniel S. Toe Jr. praised the Liberia National Tourism Authority for including Maryland County in its national tourism assessment exercise. He expressed confidence that, with the support of the Liberia National Tourism Authority and other partners, the celebration could become an annual tourism event that attracts visitors and creates economic opportunities for local businesses. Responding, the LNTA delegation welcomed the county’s vision and pledged its commitment to partnering with the Maryland County Administration in promoting the celebration and other tourism initiatives.
