Paul Forester, chair of governors at Oakdene Primary Academy in Rainhill, will take part in the Cykelvasan Öppet Spår in Sweden on Friday to raise funds for the school’s outdoor play space. "A great playground gives pupils the opportunity to build confidence, stay active and develop valuable social skills. "That's why I'm proud to be taking on the Cykelvasan Öppet Spår and raising funds for Oakdene's new playground." The campaign highlights the school’s commitment to providing high-quality outdoor facilities that promote pupils’ physical, social and emotional development. A new playground would create an inclusive space where children can learn, play and grow together.
